Dear conference participants,

We are pleased to announce the II International Conference on Innovation, Didactics, and Education for Sustainability (CIIDES-2025), an initiative of the "Design and Attention to Gender Opportunities in Higher Education Network (REDGENU)" and the "Interdisciplinary Research Group on University Teaching-Education and Information and Communication Technologies/Inclusive Education (GIDU-EDUTIC/IN)."

After the success of the first edition, which was well attended by the scientific community, we are enthusiastically taking on the challenge of this second edition. Under the slogan Building a sustainable future through education, the conference will be held on 26, 27 and 28 March 2025.

CIIDES is aimed at researchers, teachers, professionals, and students from any area of knowledge interested in educational research, both from a practical and theoretical approach. The conference offers a space for exchange to share knowledge and experiences related to education in general and, in particular, to Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).

Therefore, the event will be an ideal forum to analyse and discuss a wide range of sustainability-related educational issues, covering any of its three dimensions: social, economic and environmental.

The objectives of this edition are:

• To share innovative experiences and good practices in integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in teaching, research, leadership, management, and social transfer.
• Create a space for dialogue and reflection on the trends and challenges of Education for Sustainable Development.
• Strengthen academic and professional partnerships in education and sustainability, promoting collaborative networks for transformation.
• Promote research focused on the impact of sustainability on teaching, research, leadership and educational management.
• Research initial and in-service teacher training in ESD, covering all stages of education.

We invite the scientific and professional community from Early Childhood Education, Primary, Secondary, Baccalaureate, Vocational Training, Adult Education and University Education to participate by presenting their papers and/or symposia.

The conference will be held virtually, and presentations will be available in English and Spanish. To facilitate participation, the event will also be broadcast in a delayed format.
