Publications
Abstracts will be published digitally in a Proceedings Book by the University of Alicante Editorial (Spain). This volume will encompass abstracts from accepted
communications and symposia. Symposia abstracts will range from 500 to 600 words, while communication abstracts will span 300 to 400 words. This book will be
distributed to all participants in digital Format.
FULL TEXTS
The submission of full texts is voluntary. Contributions that undergo prior evaluation and acceptance will be published by Octaedro and Narcea publishers. Authors
will select the publisher to which they wish to submit their complete work.
Guidelines for Book Chapters:
- All authors must be registered for the Conference to publish a book chapter.
- An author can only be associated with one complete work.
- If an author wishes to be part of two contributions initially submitted as abstracts, an additional registration fee of 50 euros is required. This payment allows for the publication of one additional complete chapter. You can pay the fee here.
- Given the distinct nature of contributions, authorship distribution may differ from the initial proposals (communication and/or symposium).
- It is recommended that the title of the full-text submission be different from that proposed in communications and/or symposia.
- Length: the manuscript should be between 4000 and 6000 words, including tables, graphs, images, and bibliographic references.
- The manuscript can be in Spanish or English.

The manuscript should include the following sections:
- Empirical Research: Introduction, Objectives, Method (study design, participants, instruments, procedure), Results, Discussion and/or Conclusions, and Bibliographic References.
- Theoretical Study: Introduction, Objectives, Theme Development (with titles), Conclusions, and Bibliographic References.
- Educational Experiences: Introduction, Objectives, Method (study design, assessment instruments used), Participants, Description of the Experience, Results, Discussion and/or Conclusions, and Bibliographic References.
- The Organizing Committee is not responsible for the quality of submitted texts. The signing individual(s) must assess the adequacy and level of quality of the work before submission.
- All manuscripts will undergo a rigorous peer-review process, determining their publication status.
- Submissions must adhere to specified dates and terms (UNTIL APRIL 30th, 2025). Otherwise, the manuscript will not be considered for publication.
- Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word Format (2010 or later).
- A single template is provided below, applicable to both publishers, in which the manuscript should be prepared.

Bordón accepts studies that use any scientific method as long as they are distinguished by their scientific rigour (see the journal's editorial policy).
The journal is indexed in SJR (Q3, 0.33, in 2023), Scopus (2.0, in 2023), Journal Citation Index (Q3, 0.45, in 2023) and Dialnet (Q1, 1.08, in 2023). It has the FECYT Quality Seal (Q2, 32.29, 28/89, in 2023). It is also in the INT2 category (international impact) of the ERIH (European Reference Index for the Humanities) of the European Science Foundation.
The 10 best full texts will be selected for possible publication in Bordón. However, this first selection does not imply the definitive acceptance of the article, as the journal's editorial committee will evaluate it in accordance with its publication rules.
Those who submit a contribution must strictly observe the journal's guidelines for authors.

A special issue entitled University Education for Sustainable Development: Challenges and Opportunities will be published in this journal. Topics of interest include but are not limited to, the following: teaching innovation and sustainability, general and specific didactics linked to sustainability, curriculum and sustainability, sustainable universities, environmental Education, circular economy in university education, teacher training for sustainable development, artificial intelligence to implement the SDGs, partnerships to achieve the SDGs, and the ethical dimension and Education for sustainable development.

If you wish to submit your contribution as a full-text article to one of the associated journals, please carefully read the following information:

- Only one full text can be submitted. If two proposals were initially sent (communication and/or symposium presentation), only one can be selected for submission at this stage of the process.
- For the article to be published, all authors must be duly registered for the conference.
- Given the distinct nature of contributions, authorship distribution may differ from the initial proposals (communication and/or symposium).
- The title of the full-text submission should be different from that proposed in communications and/or symposia.
- It is mandatory to consider the publication guidelines of each journal and adjust the manuscript accordingly. Otherwise, the submission will be automatically rejected. Carefully review the corresponding links.
- The manuscript's language shall be Spanish or English.
- All submissions must be in a Microsoft Word file (2010 or later). Under no circumstances will PDF documents be accepted.
- The Organizing Committee is not responsible for the quality of submitted texts. The signing individual(s) must assess the adequacy and level of quality of the work before submission.
- All manuscripts will be subjected to a rigorous peer review process in the chosen peer review process in the chosen journal, on the outcome of which will depend publication of the manuscript will depend on its outcome. Therefore, submissions must strictly conform to the strictly to the standards and editorial guidelines of the journal.
